Relief Operations

When typhoons and floods strike, relief has to arrive fast. ElmerFrancisco.org organizes school bags and supplies, food, slippers, towels and relief goods — working with partners from chambers of commerce and Rotary clubs to media crews who help tell the story.

Sendongpreneur

Launched days after the December 16, 2011 flash flood, Sendongpreneur gives survivors start-up capital and training based on the skills they had before the storm — turning a disaster into a fresh start.

Isang Litrong Liwanag

A Liter of Light turns a plastic bottle filled with water into a solar bulb worth 55–60 watts of daylight — free to run, made for about US$1, and good for years. Savings of Php200–500 a month for families who need it most.

Quick Response Team

Established June 7, 2013, the ElmerFrancisco.org Quick Response Team is a trained, fully equipped rescue unit with its own reinforced rescue vehicle and boat — ready for swift-water, rope, first-aid and CPR emergencies.
