There are moments in life that take your breath away—not because of grandeur, but because they remind you of what truly matters: family, perseverance, and the courage to dream. July 31, 2025, was one such moment.
On that day, our son Dominic Francisco stood on stage at Enderun Colleges, graduating as Valedictorian, Summa Cum Laude, and Academic Awardee for the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship specializing in Sustainability.
It wasn’t just a ceremony. It was the culmination of years of sleepless nights, relentless effort, and a vision that refused to fade.
A Dream Born in Childhood
In his speech, Dominic shared how at just six years old, after watching Iron Man, he told himself: “I want to become Iron Man.”
At first glance, it seemed like a child’s dream—fantastical and impossible. But in that moment, something sparked. He carried with him not only the imagination of a child but also the wisdom taught by his parents:
“Think about what you want and feel good about it no matter what. Don’t think about the how—it will be presented to you. When it comes, take action and live life to the fullest.”
From those words, a vision was born. And on that graduation stage, Dominic revealed how he had already lived out parts of that story—creating the world’s first full-electric owner-type jeepney (DOMENG™️), becoming President & CEO of Francisco Motors at 21, and now, graduating with the highest honors.
Beyond Awards, Toward Legacy
But what made Dominic’s valedictory address unforgettable wasn’t just the medals, titles, or accolades.
It was his message: leadership is not about waiting for permission—it’s about choosing yourself.
He reminded his fellow Titans that true greatness comes not from comfort, but from courage. That our course is not our ceiling, our degree is not our limit, and our future is not defined by job listings—but by what we dare to create.
His words carried power because they came not from a podium of privilege, but from a young man who had wrestled with questions, embraced failures, and chosen over and over to rise.
Lessons for All of Us
Dominic’s speech was more than a student’s farewell. It was a roadmap for life.
-
Do not wait to be chosen. Choose yourself.
-
Do not wait to be hired. Create opportunities.
-
Do not wait for solutions. Build them.
-
Greatness doesn’t start with glory—it starts with responsibility.
He spoke of mental health not just as a trend, but as a discipline: exercise, eat well, sleep enough, surround yourself with positivity. He reminded us that life’s ups and downs shape resilience, and that self-sufficiency—learning to cook, clean, work hard—equips us to handle any storm.
And then, with the conviction of someone wise beyond his years, he declared:
“They called us students. Now they will call us founders.
They called us dreamers. Now they will call us builders.
They called us kids. Now they will call us Titans.”
A Parent’s Pride, A Generation’s Hope
As parents, Michelle and I could not be prouder. But beyond pride, we feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude—for the lessons learned, the values lived, and the man our son has become.
For us, this was not just about a diploma. It was about seeing Dominic embrace his calling—to use entrepreneurship and sustainability not just for personal success, but to uplift communities, tackle climate change, and build a legacy of hope.

A Final Reflection
The world today is filled with uncertainty, but as Dominic reminded us, every challenge is a chance to rise. Every obstacle is a test of who we choose to become.
And as we watched him take the stage, we knew one thing for sure: the best is yet to come.
To the Class of 2025, and to all who dare to dream—rise as Titans.
